Scope and timing
Egypt operates distinct eInvoice and eReceipt processes. ETA's production SDK introduction describes company transactions and consumer transactions, digital taxpayer identities, integration and notifications. A technical capability covering both does not establish that every taxpayer entered both regimes on the same date. ETA production SDK introduction
ETA's official service hub separately links registration, integration, coding, signatures and binding enrollment decisions. Confirm the particular taxpayer's applicable decision and transaction population before declaring universal B2B, B2G or B2C coverage. ETA e-invoice services and decisions
Government customers can require procurement references in addition to fiscal data. Exports, imports and overseas counterparties need their applicable document and tax treatment; the absence of a domestic recipient identity should enter a defined foreign-party workflow rather than be filled with a fictional local number.
Invoice lifecycle and data
Establish the taxpayer profile, authorised representatives, integration credentials, signing arrangements and relevant item/service coding. Map each business document to its fiscal type and record the returned identity and authoritative validation result.
Keep eInvoice records and POS/eReceipt records distinguishable. A sales system should know whether the same commercial transaction already produced a fiscal record before another integration submits it.
Preserve received notifications and reconcile them with status lookup. A successful submission call, final validity, buyer response and payment approval are separate events. Corrections need original-document references and the supported credit, debit, cancellation or rejection process for the actual document class.
ERP implications
Select the production environment explicitly. Public SDK examples and a readable test endpoint are not evidence that a seller's credentials work in production. Record the chosen document version and technical contract in the implementation evidence.
Test a business invoice, relevant consumer receipt, rejected classification code and linked adjustment. Include a lost response and a repeated callback so the same fiscal document cannot post twice.
For incoming invoices, match tax-system records to supplier, purchase order and actual receipt before approving payment. Finance should reconcile authorised fiscal documents against the ledger; integration operations should own unresolved technical statuses; tax should own enrollment and scope changes.
Sources and evidence limits
Both ETA pages were directly read on 17 October 2026. The production SDK supports the lifecycle description; a similarly named SIT SDK was not substituted as proof of production operation. Individual enrollment decisions, exact current document versions and universal retention or recipient deadlines were not comprehensively verified and remain deployment checks.
Limitations: No universal B2C commencement date inferred; taxpayer decisions and production endpoints must be checked independently of SDK examples.

Localisation via local partner
| ERP | Flag | Note | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Business Central | local partner | No Microsoft localization; Microsoft documents that partners localize Business Central here with apps on Microsoft Marketplace (W1 base). | verified [1] checked 2026-10-16 |
| NetSuite | limited native / partner | Oracle lists no country-specific NetSuite help topics; localisation usually through partner SuiteApps or add-ons (region-specific SuiteApps may still apply). | verified [1] checked 2026-10-16 |
Flags are derived from vendor country lists only (Microsoft Business Central availability table, Odoo fiscal localizations, Oracle NetSuite country help, SAP S/4HANA Cloud country versions). SAP S/4HANA Cloud flags use the SAP country-version list (v02_2024). Sage Intacct, Workday, Unit4 and IFS are not flagged yet.
